The Art of Photography

So, now that Steven and Kimberly have entered the Nikon family, my inner photographer has been awakened. Throughout high school, collage and before children my Dad and I were prolific shutterbugs. Just think about all the binders he and I have filled with years of slides. I don't think my children realize how much we were into "it". I'm still a member of the Nikon family, although since the light meter on my Nikon FM stopped working and since digital has taken over my photos are made with a little Nikon Coolpix S50. It's a great little camera with a zoom lens. But, being a pocket camera the settings are limited.

Anyway, this morning I went out back and made these photos. I hope you enjoy them. Hopefully, there's a new digital SLR Nikon in my future.















Now let's go inside and have the best apple pie in the world. That's right, made by Suzanne's loving hands. Enjoy, it's still hot. Ice cream on that?
