Happy Birthday Alisha!
Happy birthday Alisha. We wish we were there to celebrate with you. If we were, we'd make it really nice and honor the wonderful daughter that you are. Know that we love and support you and are proud of who you've become and all that you do. You have a wonderful family and we miss you! Love, Mom and Dad

Early Fall
Each morning we are reminded by the cool temperatures that fall is coming soon. With the change in seasons comes changes in our lives. We are lucky to have Steven, Megan and Zoe living with us for a few months. We cleaned out the basement for them.
This is before Megan's Magical Touch

This is after Megan's Magical Touch

When we cleaned out all the nooks and crannies we found a surprise.
(just kidding)

Here's our happy little Zoe in her new backyard.

Recently, we took Grandy and Grandpa for a drive to Snowbasin (where some of the Olympic events were held) and found some flowers that were still blooming. Next time we take that drive the leaves will have turned their fall colors.

As we drove around Pineview and into Eden, we found Harley and Bucks restaurant in what used to be the Eden General Store. It's nicely decorated in a rustic, upscale way. This is not your little town greasy spoon. They had a wonderful Fish Chowder with shrimp, crab and halibut in a delicious creamy chowder.

And the best Crab Cakes I've eaten. Now I'm sure somewhere in the North East there are equal or better, but I haven't eaten them. Yet! Look behind the lemon and decorative lettuce leaf and there they are. Sorry it's not the best photo.

And, last but not least, they BBQ their own brisket served with homemade BBQ Sauce. We recommend it next time you're in Eden.

"And that's the way it is."
