Zoe is Six Months Old

Last Sunday we had a visit from Zoe and Grandpa and Grandy too.

Isn't she cute?

Zoe brought her parents too.

Zoe got to see her Great Grandparents too.
Grandpa and Grandy are doing a lot better and have adjusted well to their new digs at Apple Village. We took them to church, then home for a rest, then picked them up and brought them to our house for a family visit with Steve, Megan and Zoe and then home again.

Zoe likes to play on the floor with her Dad, and practice sitting up. Oh ya, she likes to talk too.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Some time in the next couple of weeks we'll have some of the new kid on the block, Henry. We're still waiting.....it will be a surprise when he comes.

Suzanne is planning to go out to Kimberly's and help here next week. She's an awesome Mom. (Who's the awesome mom? Ok, they both are. Just like Alisha and Megan!)

Napa and Sonoma

Last weekend we were lucky enough to go to Napa and Sonoma. We were greeted with a little surprise.

We stayed at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn.

Trips like this make Suzanne even happier than she usually is.

California's wine country is beautiful. There are vineyards everywhere! We even saw houses with a vineyard for a front yard instead of grass. No wonder everyone is so happy and mellow.

Spring has begun and the grape vines just started growing. They are harvested in September and October. The state flower, the California Poppy was along side the roads and in the fields.

We went Chocolate Tasting, and Cheese Tasting. We tasted some great cheese from Cache Valley! How did that happen?

We had a great lunch here at Della Santina's. It's a small place in Sonoma that's comes well recommended. When we got inside we saw a sign saying Rachel Ray had been there on one of her $40 a Day trips.

We ate outside on the patio under these beautiful flowers.

Some cool trees.....

One of the highlights was Suzanne's spa treatment. Doesn't she look relaxed and happy?

The hotel sits on natural mineral springs. All the pools are filled with wonderful mineral. Here I am, zoning out, enjoying the minerals, and the "spa music" piped into the pool underwater.

We toured and eat lunch at..............

And dessert is last.

Lemon Raspberry Sponge Cake, Raspberry Coulis, Lemon Sorbet.
